Outreach Center Leadership
Jennifer Adams, Director, Outreach Programs Jen Adams completed her Bachelor’s in English and Secondary Education at Wake Forest University. She then completed her Master of Science in Deaf Education through the Joint Education Specialist Program at the University of Rochester, in cooperation with NTID at RIT. After graduation, she worked in a variety of positions: as a teacher in residential and mainstream programs for deaf and hard of hearing students, as an educational consultant securing consulting and interpreting contracts, and as Principal (lead teacher) of the High School Program at the Kentucky School for the Deaf. After her family relocated to Rochester, closer to family, Jen began working at the Rochester School for the Deaf. At RSD, she has worked as a teacher and English Language Arts Specialist prior to being appointed Director of Outreach Programs.
Jennifer Sammon, Support Staff Bachelor's of Art in Sociology and Business from Nazareth College Previous experience: American Red Cross: recruited volunteers for a disaster relief program; also work in the Health and Safety Department; March of Dimes, Assistant Community Director - Planned two WalkAmerica fundraising events.
