"Freedom to Roam: A Photographer's Quest to Protect America's Wildlife"  
RSD Adventures in Education, October 13-14, 2010, welcomes Florian Schulz, a professional wildlife and landscape photographer from Germany. Mr. Schulz’ images have earned him international recognition and numerous awards, including the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Nature’s Best International Photography Awards, the Banff International Mountain Photography Competition and the European Nature Photographer of the Year. Spending as many as eight to ten months a year in the field, Mr. Schulz focuses on environmental and conservation issues. For well over a decade he has traveled extensively to some of the last wilderness gems in North America. Through his “Freedom to Roam” Project, Mr. Schulz hopes to inspire the creation of an extended system of wildlife corridors. His book, Yellowstone to Yukon Freedom to Roam, A Photographic Journey by Florian Schulz demonstrates how Mr. Schulz uses his photography to inspire others to get involved with conservation efforts.

Mr. Schulz will present a stunning collection of visuals, both photography and video, as he shares with us stories about his many adventurous expeditions, encounters with wildlife and how his important work endeavors to protect America’s wildlife.
