NDIAA Fall Athletics Selections Honor Eight at RSD

Two Coaches and Six Students Receive National Recognition

The National Deaf Interscholastic Athletic Association (NDIAA) Fall 2015 Athletic players and coaches selections include eight outstanding individuals from Rochester School for the Deaf (RSD).

Felicia McGinnis, a standout student-athlete on the RSD Varsity Volleyball Team has been selected the 2015 NDIAA Division II Volleyball Player of-the-Year. Felicia is also a member of the RSD Varsity Girls Basketball Team.

Mary Cook, RSD Athletic Director, Physical Education Teacher, Assistant Varsity Girls Basketball Coach and Head Varsity Boys Soccer Coach, has been selected the 2015 NDIAA Division II Soccer Coach of-the-Year.

Charles Palmer, RSD Teaching Assistant, Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach and Head Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach, has been selected the 2015 NDIAA Division II Volleyball Coach of-the-Year.

All-American selections in volleyball for RSD include: Brianna DiGiovanni, First Team; and Marlena Rauber, Second Team

All-American selections in soccer for RSD include: Ahmed Mahmoud and Sean Dinsmore, First Team; and Thomas Coates, Honorable Mention.
