The site is still in development and review, so you may notice a few things that need our attention. If you spot something that isn’t working, is missing, or could be clearer, please let us know at info@rsdeaf.org

Why RSD?

Rochester School for the Deaf provides exemplary opportunities in a bilingual environment to meet students’ unique learning. Together, as a community, RSD challenges and prepares students for participation in the ever-changing world.

Language & Learning

Language is the foundation of learning. In our bilingual ASL-English environment, students build the communication, literacy, and self-advocacy skills that support success from early childhood through graduation.

Community & Belonging

Students build friendships, celebrate their identities, and develop pride in who they are within a diverse community grounded in respect, connection, and belonging.

A Future Without Limits

Students discover their strengths through engaging academics, athletics, arts, leadership opportunities, and experiences that help them develop the skills to thrive in college, careers, and their communities.
