A virtual race is one that provides all with the opportunity to walk or run, anywhere at any pace! The only rule is that you must complete the distance 5k/3.1 miles all at once, anytime between June 4 - June 18.
This virtual race is a great way to stay connected to our school community. Once our race is finished, you will receive a participant's certificate.
The first 150 registrants will receive a t-shirt (sizes guaranteed if provided by May 17) which can be mailed to the address provided or can be picked up at RSD on June 3rd with an additional tasty treat. Details regarding t-shirt pick up will be provided to those who select that option.
How far do I run?
You will need to complete 5 kilometers or 3.1 miles at one time. You can track your distance using several different options; a GPS watch, your smartphone via an app, or go to a known 5k course outside and follow the map. You can even use a treadmill if you prefer to stay indoors.

What do I do after I finish my race?

Are there any prizes?
Everyone who registers for the Virtual River Ramble 5k will receive a customized certificate in the mail. All who complete the google form will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win some great prizes.
