Discharging or Exiting from RSD
Once a student is officially approved to attend RSD by NYS, they may remain a student here until they graduate or age out. If a parent, teacher, RSD school administrator, or the student's home district believes RSD is no longer an appropriate school for the student, a change in placement may be requested through the home district CSE. Until a new placement is decided on, the student will remain enrolled at RSD.
