Henrietta, NY – Rochester Institute of Technology’s (RIT) National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) selected Rochester School for the Deaf (RSD) to receive the 2019 NTID Center on Employment Outstanding Employer Partner Award. The Center also selected the Tobyhanna Army Depot, of Coolbaugh Township, Pennsylvania, to receive the same award.

These awards recognize employers who have a sustained record of hiring RIT/NTID deaf and hard-of-hearing co-op students or graduates.

Dr. Gerry Buckley, President of NTID, presented the awards at the luncheon held during NTID’s Annual Career Fair, which took place Thursday, October 17, 2019, in Lyndon Baines Johnson Hall on the RIT campus.
